The key elements the client wanted to integrate into the company logo were: High Energy + Creativity + Fun. In my belief that extraordinary brands are built on the foundation of archetypes, I wanted to infuse the logo with the exceptional attributes associated with honeybee and light bulb. Meaning is the most potent brand asset of a company. In creating the light bulb bee, the symbol instantly establishes a proactive, and joyful tone, narrating the journey of a "good idea" in flight, on its way to "cross-pollenate" in the world. Whether being viewed by clients or staff, the light bulb bee identifies you as an agent of change. And because of our common knowledge that bees work in the collective and has a hive identity, we naturally formulate a notion that this bee is not alone– it is the one in the many; the many in the one.
