YouCAN stands for Youth Organizating to Understand Conflict and Advocate Non-violence. This non-profit organization has one of the most engaging and passionate executive directors I have ever befriended in my life. Dave Farthing essentially has led a quiet revolution in the hearts and minds of thousands of youths across Canada to be the peace they want to see in the world. All the skills I gained through training at YouCAN as a youth has infused and authentically integrated into my adult life and career. Every time I step out of a rebranding client meeting, I think: "Thank God for all those facilitation and "third-party-neutral" courses from YouCAN way back in the days." Please support YouCAN!
